U.S. Army Corps of Engineers extending the camping season at three Upstate campgrounds (Anderson Independent-Mail)
Oconee Point Campground in Oconee County and Crescent Group Campground in Anderson County now will remain open until Oct. 31. Coneross Campground in Oconee County will be open until Sept. 30.
 
More camping stalls needed (Fort Saskatchewan Record)
Six in ten Fort Saskatchewan residents want to see something done to add more camping stalls to the city, the community survey revealed. Sixty per cent of respondents said it was either “important” or “extremely important” for city council to develop additional public campground spaces.
